Treasurer’s Report
  • Checking and Savings Reports were provided by Missy Noelken.
 
Old Business
  • Fall Workshop will be October 30, 2009 at Maryland Heights Community Center. The Recreation Council and TRAGSL have a key note speaker and two concurrent sessions in the afternoon.
  • TRAGSL dues are due in October
  • TRAGSL will be holding elections in October for all Board positions.   Nominations can be made for all positions. Please contact Kristin Casey at kristinc@stlsociety.org or 314-989-1188 ext. 16 for any nominations.
 
New Business
  • The group talked about how to generate an increase in attendance at meetings. On the table of discussion are doing just workshops instead of meetings.  The possibility of doing 3 to 4 workshops a year instead of the bi-monthly meetings.  A motion was made to let the members vote at the October workshop. 
  • Members at the meeting suggested another vote for the By-Laws to change for a non-CTRS to hold a board position. The hopes of passing would increase more nominations for board positions.
  • Jeff Campbell, Steve and Alicia Bunn of Show Me Aquatics gave a one hour presentation on Show Me Aquatics and the inclusive programs in the Community Freedom Center, which is set to be constructed September 2009.
